National Training on Solar Direct Drive (SDD) Vaccine Refrigerators

On the 13th of November 2019, Prezzo conducted a Nation-wide training for cold chain experts and public health workers from across Nigeria on the proper handling and maintenance of Solar Direct Drive (SDD) Vaccine Refrigerators. Also in attendance were officials from UNICEF, NPHCDA and CHAI

The Training included classroom session and practical demonstration on handling the Solar Direct Drive Vaccine Refrigerators, Remote Temperature Monitoring Device (RTMD) and 30-Day Temperature Recorder (DTR). The sessions were anchored by Prezzo Staff, Engr. Odinaka and Mr. Remi.

The sessions were highly interactive with massive engagements from the participants. There were also opportunities for participant to ask questions about various aspect of the training, the company and her operations.

At the end of the event, a Deputy Director at National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) described the training as “perfectly executed”. While commending the management of Prezzo, he suggested that more trainings be organised to constantly refresh the memory of the participants.
